After the success of our first 'How to Land a Grad Job' workshop we're back with our for first instalment of our 'Break into' webinar series where we explore various industries and the career opportunities they offer.

Join us on the 19th of April on Zoom for our FREE interactive, practical 'Break into Tech' webinar where you'll:

-Understand the different routes to take to kickstart your career
-Gain knowledge on how to break into the industry from current professionals

There will be a live Q&A with our amazing panelists who will be sharing their unique experiences on how they got into the tech industry and established their careers. You'll be given the opportunity to ask each of them questions and engage with them on the day.

Amina Aweis, Software Engineer @BT

Amina Aweis is a writer, content strategist and Software Engineer at BT. She is also an ambassador for London Screen Academy which is a sixth form founded by names in the industry behind the production of the Harry Potter series, James Bond and Paddington.
She is also 1/4 of The Black Muslim Girl Podcast (TBMG) which is a space for Black Muslim girls to vibe, elevate, educate each other.
Prior to this, Amina was in the Film & TV industry working for The Ink Factory, who produced the BBC series ‘The Night Manager’ and had also worked alongside BAFTA nominated producer, Manon Ardisson as a Markering & PR assistant.
Amina is passionate about authentic storytelling and believes it’s what connects people together.

Mabintou Kolley, UI/UX Designer @ Clamp Agency

Mabintou Kolley is a London-based founder and creative director of Clamp Digital , founder of Beauty Hive, a UX/UI and digital designer.Mabintou is a creative powerhouse, catering to all brands needs - consultation, digital, strategy, direction, environments, packaging and video for 3 years alone before embarking on the journey of creating an agency with 4 of her peers, Clamp Digital. Her content collectively receives over 18 million impressions per month as she utilises her platform creating content and sharing uplifting or inspiring thoughts. Her words have been used by the likes of Teen Vogue and The Daily Mail.

Reena Rai, Creator Marketing Lead @Pinterest

Reena Rai is the Creator Marketing Lead at Pinterest. She heads up influencer marketing across UK, Canada and Australia working with leading influencers to help them grow their audience and build their brand on the platform. Reena has an impressive multichannel digital skillset and extensive experience of formulating and executing innovative online marketing strategies. Working both client-side and agency-side, Reena has worked on award-winning campaigns within Performance Marketing, SEM and Digital Content.
Prior to Pinterest, Reena worked on award-winning digital marketing campaigns for Harrods, Agent Provocateur, Ted Baker and boohoo.com.
In her spare time she produces content as a successful lifestyle and fashion blogger who has been featured in publications such as Cosmpolitan, Grazia and the British Fashion Council.

Stephanie Itimi, Founder @ Seidea

Stephanie itimi is a Government Technology Advisor with a passion for gender equality.
A budding social entrepreneur who is enthusiastic about internet education and security. She founder of Seidea, a social enterprise focused on helping BAME women build cyber-security careers and Seinfo, a digital library tackling unemployment by empowering African women and youth with the skills needed for remote working. Stephanie has a track record of supporting global initiatives and was part of the BBC World Service team that developed the world's first public health information service on the WhatsApp platform. Tackling false Ebola news, Stephanie led a data restructuring project which supplied text, pictures and audio to over 16,000 consumers in West Africa, as well as through partners such as UNICEF, the World Health Organisation, the World Food Program and the Centre for Disease Control.
